Steam cleaning of metal profiles
In-line steam cleaning systems are installed directly inside roll forming lines or profile production lines. The cleaning module operates synchronously with the line speed, typically up to 15 m/min or higher depending on the configuration.
As a result, the production flow remains continuous and controlled.
This approach eliminates the need for:
- Off-line washing stations
- Manual handling between process steps
- Intermediate storage before surface treatment
With in-line steam cleaning, the profile is guided through calibrated rollers that stabilize its position and ensure consistent alignment before entering the cleaning chamber. This mechanical guidance is essential to allow uniform steam exposure, particularly when processing thin or complex geometries.
Ensuring that profiles leave the module ready for the next process production treatment without intermediate storage.
