REA Steam Cleaning is about to complete the installation of a new steam-based washing system designed specifically for modular conveyor belts in the food industry. This system is the result of a custom development for a major industrial food manufacturer.
This customized solution represents a significant step forward in the cleaning of modular conveyor belts, which are among the most difficult to clean, especially in food processing environments where residues often remain trapped in the mesh structure.
The system features two steam nozzles that automatically move across the full width of the belt, ensuring complete and uniform coverage.
The key advantage lies in the direct steam application onto the perforated belt, allowing deep cleaning of areas that are usually hard to reach. All residues, such as flour and dough remnants, are efficiently removed and collected in a dedicated basin positioned beneath the belt.
