Robotic steam washing of a gear box
Transform your production line with precision robotic steam cleaning
Dry steam is particularly suitable for washing with robots (robotic washing).
In fact, the robot is able to follow an extremely precise washing path, hitting every part of the piece to be washed with the steam.
The path is easily programmable for any piece shape.
REA produces specific steam nozzles for robotic application, but also closed washing booths equipped with suction.
The amount of waste water is very low, and washing does not require detergents. Furthermore, the robotic steam washing not only degreases perfectly but allows to remove particles up to 20 microns.
If necessary, the steam nozzle can also be used for compressed air to dry the piece.

In-line degreasing of metal blades prior to painting Residual machining oils, greases and fine metal particles can compromise coating adhesion and long-term surface durability. In the pre-painting phase,in-line cleaning with dry saturated steam is an effective alternative to traditional industrial washing systems. In this process, the blades pass through a compact cleaning chamber integrated directly…

Our commitment to ongoing R&D drives innovative solutions, such as our Patented In-Line Steam Cleaning for Bipolar Plates in Fuel Cell Production. From powertrain components to parts for next-generation fuel cell systems,…
Robotic steam cleaning: a robust solution for industrial environments In the quest for greater efficiency in industrial processes, the cleaning phase of mechanical components and production parts has long been a bottleneck. Traditional methods-such as solvent tanks, ultrasonic washes or high-pressure manual cleaning-are often slow, dangerous and uneven. The integration of robotic systems with industrial…
Steam cleaning of rotary pump axles with robotic systems Rotary pump axles are critical components where cleaning directly affects performance, sealing efficiency, and service life. Traditional manual or solvent cleaning methods often struggle to achieve tight geometries while generating variability and chemical waste. Robotic steam cleaning offers a controlled and repeatable solution. By combining industrial…
